I get it. You throw a bunch of money into a project; it's looking--well, better; and you want to start seeing something in return. You productize it and release it to market. It "sort of" works, right?
Sure. And here are some great "sort of"s from an AI engine I played with recently. I asked it to create a simple image that represents Learning.
I enjoyed examining the first one, a Max Escher version of a scrapbook, maybe.
The second image, not so much.
A tampon inserted between a book's uncut pages? Hmm. Look closely and you'll see a threaded connection near the cord, like the one on the base of a lightbulb. The neck of the thing might be curved instead of straight, and the business end has an arch to it like a modern-day ice cream scoop.

Needless to say, neither says "Learning" to me.
So what was the AI engine "thinking"? Basically, each image shows a book. Books are good. We learn things from books. Maybe the strange permutations mean that books / learning adds creativity and complexity to our lives. But the images are still a ridiculous fail.
